小笠原へ行こう

The Ogasawara Islands are oceanic islands comprised of about 30 islands of various sizes, including Mukojima Islands, Chichijima Islands, Hahajima Islands, Iwo Islands, Okinotori Island, Minamitorishima and Nishinoshima from north to south. As they are in the ocean separated from Tokyo by about one thousand kilometers, a lot of uniquely evolved, endemic plants and animals are found on the islands.

You can go to Ogasawara on the liner ship Ogasawara-maru which leaves Takeshiba Pier, Tokyo. The liner departs at 11:00 in the morning and arrives at Futami Port, Chichijima at 11:00 a.m. on the following day. The travel schedule is five nights and six days (three nights on site, two nights on the ship) under normal conditions. Contact Ogasawara Kaiun for buying tickets.

It takes two hours to Hahajima from Chichijima by Hahajimamaru. On the days Ogasawara-maru arrives from Tokyo and departs from Chichijima, Hahajima-maru is operated for the convenience of passengers for connection.。

Seven minutes’ walk from the north exit of JR Hamamatsu-cho Station.
Eight minutes’ walk from subway Daimon Station.
One minute walk from Takeshiba Station of Yurikamome Train.
Ten minutes’ walk from Hamamatsu-cho Station of the Tokyo Monorail.

Tickets can also be acquired at some travel agencies and the terminal devices at convenience stores.
